新校舎の「Funglish Room」の飾り付けを、ALTの先生が工夫して完成させてくれました。テーマは「国際空港」です！天井には3年生の児童が作った紙飛行機が飾られており、まるでこれから旅に出るかのようなワクワク感にあふれています。 Our ALTs came up with creative ideas to decorate the Funglish Room in our new school building. The theme is "International Airport"! Paper airplanes made by our 3rd-grade students hang from the ceiling, creating an exciting atmosphere that makes you feel as if you are about to set off on a trip.

☆夏休み企画「Funglishイベント」を開催しました！

今回のイベントには市内の小学校4〜6年生が参加し、フィリピンの小学生たちとオンラインでの国際交流に挑戦しました。子どもたちは日本の文化を紹介するため、事前に絵を描いたり折り紙を作成したりと心を込めて準備を進めてきました。本番では緊張しながらもカメラの前に立ち、練習してきた英語を使って自分の言葉で堂々と発表することができました。自分たちの英語が相手に伝わった瞬間の喜びと達成感から、会場はたくさんの弾けるような笑顔で包まれました！
Summer Vacation Funglish Event!

Elementary school students in 4th through 6th grade joined our summer "Funglish" event to participate in an exciting online exchange with students in the Philippines.

To share Japanese culture with their new friends, the students carefully prepared drawings and origami crafts. On the day of the event, they confidently stepped in front of the camera and presented their work in English.

Seeing that their English was understood was a joyful experience, leaving everyone with bright, glowing smiles!
