毎週金曜日お昼休みに行っているファングリッシュカフェの様子です。Welcome to the Color Mat Race! In this super fun game, kids sit on red, green, white, and yellow mats and slide across the floor like racers! The goal is to reach the other side and grab each color. But here’s the fun part — they can only move by sitting on their mat and pushing with their hands or feet. No standing allowed! Then, race back and pass the mat to the next friend. Everyone gets a turn. The team that collects all the colors the fastest is the winner! Ready, set, slide!

Fun times at the FunGlish Café! Today, we played the “Don’t Touch the Shape!” game.We kicked things off with a quick shape review, then jumped straight into the action. The rule? Don’t touch the shape, the teacher says! Next up: colors! Same game, new twist — don’t touch the color that’s called out! Then came the ultimate test: the combo round! Students had to stay sharp and avoid touching a specific color and shape — like the orange circle or the black square. The kids had so much fun learning and playing — we love turning English practice into exciting games!

Today, we played the "In, Out, Left, Right" game, and the kids were jumping out with joy as they learned new directional words like in, out, left, and right. Their excitement was contagious as they moved around, laughing and following instructions with growing confidence. It was amazing to see how quickly they picked up the new vocabulary through play. To celebrate their efforts, each child received a cute sticker at the end—a small reward for a big day of learning and fun!

4年生の外国語活動の様子
The 4th graders participated in an exciting card-collecting game activity that began with a round of janken (rock-scissors- paper). The winner of the game had the opportunity to ask, "How’s the weather?" while the loser responded with an answer and was required to give up one of their collected cards. The goal was to collect as many cards as possible by the end of the game, with the player who had the most cards at the finish being declared the winner. This fun and engaging game allowed the students to practice their social and language skills while learning about the weather playfully and competitively.

As part of the Funglish Power Friday Program, the Funglish room started its Funglish Cafe Time today. To motivate and encourage students to participate, they received their Hero Quest card to collect stamps and get stickers by playing Funglish games. Today, we played Daruma-san ga Koronda using weather gestures. The game helped the students in practicing "How's the weather?" and saying "It's ~. The Funglish Team is preparing more fun and educational games for the students.
